Crowley Millar’s Corporate Social Responsibility is a fundamental and basic element of our firm and informs everything we do in our professional capacity. CSR is about more than just our commitment to upholding and providing the best and most ethical services to our clients. It represents the very best of Crowley Millar, and defines who we are as both people and we are as both people and professionals.

Focus Ireland – Our Partner, John Carroll was involved in Focus Ireland’s campaign to raise funds to end homelessness in their ‘Shine A Light’ campaign. John raised over €11,000 for this great cause and the staff of Crowley Millar decided to hold a Coffee Morning/Cake Sale to assist in his fundraising efforts. As well as raising money for Focus Ireland, John was one of many business leaders who slept outdoors to fund raise and support for the charity’s great work.

Calcutta Run – Every year, the Calcutta Run is held to raise money for two amazing charities, The Hope Foundation and the Peter McVerry Trust. Crowley Millar enters a team annually and each participant raises a significant amount of money for the charities involved.

Supporting “Fighting Words” – Crowley Millar is a supporter of the wonderful work done by the staff and volunteers of Fighting Words. This wonderful charity provides tutoring and mentoring with respect to creative writing and related arts to many children, young adults and adults with special needs. The programme and workshops provided by Fighting Words are mainly by volunteers and writing tutors. The charity itself was founded by renowned author, Roddy Doyle.
Our involvement in Fighting Words shows commitment to those in the inner city of Dublin and to those less fortunate than ourselves. It also represents our commitment to provide legal services in the world of media and outreach in relation to freedom of expression, not just the right to express one’s views and ideas – but also to engage in participating in the free exchange of ideas www.fightingwords.ie
