Our team has extensive expertise in anti-doping regulation, including compliance with the Sport Ireland Anti-Doping Rules and the WADA Code. We provide urgent advice in cases involving potential Anti-Doping Rule Violations or provisional suspensions, and assist with Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) applications and appeals. We also support sporting bodies in developing robust anti-doping policies, education programmes, and crisis-management strategies to promote fairness, transparency, and integrity in sport.

We understand the challenges faced by sporting bodies navigating complex governance, regulatory, and commercial issues at both professional and grassroots levels. Our practical, client-focused approach ensures a complete and effective legal service.
One of our notable achievements includes the development and implementation of a Transgender Policy for the Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA).

John Carroll, who heads our Sports Law Department, serves as a Disciplinary Officer with the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU), the United Rugby Championship (URC), and European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR). In this role, he chairs Disciplinary Committees tasked with adjudicating on player conduct and disciplinary matters.
